Alive Horses
The art of painting horses obeys the clear intention of capturing on the canvas the strength, the power and at the same time the nobility of one of the most perfect animals of the animal kingdom. Since prehistoric times, the drawings in the cave paintings are already horse traces. Although Avella is not a figurative artist, he deals with the subject of the horses in a similar way to the abstract in scenes with a lot of movement and demonstrating the competitive capacity of the horse in sports fights such as horse races and the Polo competitions. It is a fortunate composition marked by colors and generally worked in charcoal and pastels that frame the work in a unique and authentic beauty.
